WW2 US Navy Winter Flying Suit Trousers

This is a pair of insulated Rayon "BUAER - U.S. Navy Trousers, Winter, Flying Suit". Very clean with no soiling, no fading, no snags to the fabric. Size 32 Short.

I got this from the estate of a vet who joined the Navy in 1942, and served aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Saratoga (in what capacity, I don't know). The Saratoga itself had an interesting history - torpedoed in January 1942, badly damaged by Kamikaze attacks at Iwo Jima (you can see photos and videos of the attacks on the Internet) , and finally, blasted into oblivion during atomic bomb testing in 1946.
