SOLD - This is a nice, perfectly matching pair of slip-on Shoulder Boards for a full Colonel of Artillery. You can clearly see where the rank Pips (two on each Board) were placed - to differentiate a full Colonel from a Lt. Colonel or a Major. Unfortunately, the Pips have been removed. I only have two perfectly-matching officer Pips, so couldn't restore them. (Although you will find many original examples of officer Boards where the Pips don't all match, I just couldn't picture a full Colonel doing that).
