This is a nice example of a decorative wall plaque for "fanatical followers" of Adolf Hitler. Zinc/pewter alloy plaque measures 7 1/8" x 8 1/4" (18cm x 21cm). It was likely originally in a heavy wooden frame, which the GI who brought it back decided not to bother with.

These artistic depictions of Der Fuhrer are relatively hard to find, as most were mutilated, shot up or completely destroyed during by Allied troops in their trek through Germany.
