This is a neat set of alloy fittings for the hanger of a WW2 German Red Cross or Social Welfare Officer's Dagger. You can see where the pawls were soldered to the oval buckles, but have come loose.

All four parts (except the pawls) are crisply marked in raised letters with the "M1/17" contract code for Assmann & Sohne, Ludenscheid. I have a few sets.
