Blade cutting edge length 28 1/2"; sword with scabbard overall length 36". 85% of the gilt finish remaining. The blade has a few TINY nicks along the edge which are shown in the photos. Nice false Hamon. There are some grease spots that I failed to wipe off before photographing - blade does have light scuffing overall and a few small stains but that's about it. There is a tear to the leather on the scabbard in one spot, shown in photos, that has been lacquered over, and some brush marks in the lacquer, also pictured - so looks like a repair but I don't know if it was period done.
