SOLD - This is a large photo and document lot for Tech Corporal Walter Erwin, serving at Battalion Headquarters of the 16th Armored Infantry Battalion, 13th Armored Division. Includes:
Erwin’s Dog Tags
Ribbon Bars including ETO Ribbon with two Campaign Stars
Three loose Photos and two Newspaper Clippings of Erwin
A large Photo Album (only some of the pages shown here). Many photos taken at Camp Beale (training site for the 13th Armored), some photos near the end taken in France & Germany, also post-war family pics. The Platoon photo inside the back cover is 8”x9.5”. Mnay loose pages and the black paper is very brittle. (Note that a few photos are pictured twice)
A General Order awarding Erwin and others the Combat Infantry Badge (the Badge was in the estate, but sold in a grouping of misc. Sterling jewelry)
