This is a 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" original period Photo, in the original 10" x 12" Frame, which was identified for me by members of the online forum "Dubuque History Uncensored". This photo appeared in the Dubuque Telegraph Herald on 25 February 1918 (page 8), captioned "Dubuque's Last Draft Contingent Snapped Just After Formal Induction Into Military Service". Several of the men are identified in the newspaper's caption. (Last photo is adapted from an internet posting of the clipping.)
