Strap-on WW2 Visibility ID Panel for Armored Vehicles

This a large "Friend or Foe" Orange and White Identification Panel for strapping on top of an armored vehicle. Approx. 30" x 72". Complete with all of the 6 foot tie-down straps.

Seems like these all have the same markings and are all dated 1945. On this one, the stamping is fuzzy so the "45" looks more like "58" or "68", but these were not made after WW2. In Vietnam, they had a less cumbersome thin vinyl sheet type of panel that was used for signaling helicopters.

The asking price on these can get high - I guess people figure that if you own an armored vehicle, then you can afford one of these. This one is priced right.
