Offering this as a REPRODUCTION even though I am not 100% certain one way or the other. 4.5 cm diameter die-stamped aluminum tag is baked-on finished in a dark orange. I found a thread in the Wehrmacht Awards Forum that said the repros were painted red, but that possibly more correct repros had hit the market. So ????
