This is a "tinnie" (so-named because many were stamped in thin metal) from 1939 It's a large 1 1/2" diameter, silver plastic (a novelty at the time) badge for the S-A-Gruppe Kurpfalz Gruppen-Wettkamptag (Stormtrooper Group Kurpfalz [in the Heidelberg area] Competitive Maneuvers) in 1939. Shows a Stormtrooper and his future "Soldier of the Reich" self. throwing potato masher Hand Grenades.
