This is a Patriotic WW1 "Trench Art" Lamp, made with a 75 mm Artillery Shell and a US Army-style Helmet. Artillery Shell is engraved on the body "Victory - Nov 11, 1918 - 75 m/m Shell" with the copper Rotating Band skillfully stamped/engraved "They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore." Helmet Shell is a brass child-sized version that has been factory-adapted to fit over a light bulb (Edison-style LED bulb included). Lamp is in working condition, but will need the original cloth-covered cord upgraded if you intend to use it regularly.
