2nd Armored Division Lot Driver/Mechanic Casablanca to Berlin

$425.00

This nice document and personal effects lot for Russell Dugan Ellerhoff, 2nd Armored Division, rated as an Armored Halftrack and Light Tank Driver, who also served a Mechanic and Armored Recovery Vehicle Driver. His personal notebook/diary mentions Casablanca, Rabat, Oran-Arzew, Mostaganem, Jhuda, Fez, Algiers, Bealla-Bess, Bizerte, Tunis, Gerryville, Sicily (1st Wave), getting Malarial Jaundice, back to Africa, then to Liverpool, with later photos annotate as taken outside and near Berlin.

I took a lot of pictures to explain the contents of this listing as well as documenting Ellerhoff's service, and also to clarify any condition issues. The first several photos give you an overall picture of Ellerhoff's time in the Service (items depicted are also pictured in-context further on), also, his enlistment record photo from an ancestry site.
