This is a nice-sized (38mm) silver-plated brass pocket badge for the Italian Youth Group "Opera Nazionale Balilla" (ONB) an Italian Fascist paramilitary youth organization functioning between 1926 and 1937. The Badge depicts Duce Benito Mussolini with the motto "Se Avanzo Seguitemi (If I Advance, Follow Me!). Even though it originally had a safety-pin style clasp (now missing), it was used as a neckerchief slide for the youth uniform.
