Very nice satin 48-Star Flag - shows light age yellowing as well as overall light fading. Also, some light purple fading to the blue field along folds. Approx. 4 x 6 foot as opposed to the more common 5 x 9 1/2 foot. I have four of these, so the photos are representative. A few have little black leatherette tabs for hanging - looks like they were all meant to be hung vertically from a rope passed through the hoist. I was told the estate was for a family that owned a toy store since the early 1940's.
