This is an Bronze Medallion issued in 1847 to commemorate King Carlo Alberto of Sardinia's introduction of a Constitution. 51 mm diameter Medallion reads "Carlo Alberto Re Di Sardegana" on the obverse, and "Al Principe Riformatore I Popoli Riconoscenti XXX Ottobre MDCCCXLVII" [To the Reformer Prince - The Grateful People - 30th October 1847].
