This is a U.S. Military optic. At one time I found an online army technical manual which showed it to be a tank optic, but apparently that manual is no longer available online. I did find someone describe it as a U.S. Military "Panoramic Sight, Tank", but haven't been able to verify this. But if you can use one, I think this is the best price on the Internet.
